Rosalia Arteaga Serrano is an Ecuadorian lawyer, social activist, writer and politician. She is the first female president and constitutional vice president of Ecuador. She served as General Secretary of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO), an intergovernmental organization based in Brazil, which seeks to preserve and develop the Amazon in a sustainable manner, from the beginning of her political career Rosalía showed great interest in the areas of culture and environment where he worked together with ACTO to prevent deforestation in the Amazon, increasing regional cooperation and the global negotiation capacity of the eight member countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.
